Harvest

After a night of pizza, booze, card games and camping we harvested 6 of the ponds we'd been managing for the last two months. Draining the ponds started late at night, which compelled the near all-night beer binge (c'mon, we needed an excuse). The harvest was chaotic; the ponds didn't drain as much as they should have, so we ended up dragging a net through the mud to get the fish out. We were splattered and caked with mud but it was great fun. Here Elly and I haul the fruits of our labor...sort of. Our pond wasn't all that successful. Got some great pictures, though!
